Who could have ever imagined that two years later we are still battling the Covid-19 crisis? It has certainly been a trying time in the lives of many of our employees, participants and family members. However, with our many dedicated field employees, the livelihood of our seniors was sustained through the continuity of care that you all provided. We extend our gratitude to all of you for all of your hard work!
As the crisis continues and the CDC guidelines change, we encourage you to continue to mask up, sanitize get vaccinated, boosted and remember to turn in your vaccination cards to your local office or supervisor. Most places are asking people to sign up online for appointments; some sites require multiple steps and their systems may seem hard to use. If you don't have a computer or you are not comfortable using one, ask a family member, friend or neighbor for help. Similarly, ask for help if you are not fluent in English. You can find available appointments statewide on the following website: https://coronavirus.illinois.gov/s/vaccination-location.
We have many phenomenal and dedicated employees in the Illinois region. This issue we want to spotlight one of the Joliet employees, Lora Omovie.
Lora Omovie has been an outstanding caregiver with Premier Home Healthcare for 5 years. Throughout her employment with Premier, she has gone over and beyond to help service our clients. She has taken fill-in cases, respite cases and weekend cases besides her usual caseload… she is joy to have on our caregiver team with an incredible attendance rate!
Thank you Lora for all of your hard work and dedication!
