In the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP), a Consumer is cared for by a Personal Assistant (PA) whose scope of practice is much greater than that of a traditional HHA under traditional long term home care.
It is important to note that any tasks must be identified on the Client/Consumer’s Care Plan by the assigned nurse before a PA can complete.
